The beach of Breidamerkursandur in Iceland is one of the most amazing location for photography I've ever visited. It is an ever changing location, it is just matter of minutes and the same stretch of the beach changes with new icebergs coming from the ocean and different light. It is a real wonder for photography. The iceberg in the center of the frame inspired me the title I gave to this picture. I can't draw a straight line. Matter of fact, I can't draw at all. Painting the walls of a room is a challenge. I really admire those who can. I often try and incorporate a painterly feel into my images during post. Accurately representing the scene frankly doesn't interest me much plus there are plenty of folks doing that very nicely already. This image is 5 exposures hand blend in CS5 and then sharpened and some color tweaking in LR5 a finished with a pro contrast filter at 40% in Nik color Efex pro 4.
