seen in golling/torren/tennengau/salzburg/austria Die Wallfahrtskirche steht auf einem kleinen Felsplateau, dem Nikolausberg, das im Salzachtal aufragt. Archäologen haben hier eine Streusiedlung westlich von Golling an der Salzach am linken Salzachufer festgestellt und seit 1978 wurden auf diesem Plateau auch Grabungen durchgeführt. Die Kirche ist urkundlich 1139 erstmals erwähnt. Als spätgotische Wallfahrtskirche erhielt sie am 18. Oktober 1517 ihre Einweihung.
