Balloons over Bagan by bastivice

It really pays off to get up early and enjoy the spectecular sunrise overlooking the temples of Bagan. Most people just go for the sunset, but in my opinion the sunrise is much better as the fog creates a wonderful effect. Best time to travel here is november through february, as it is not too hot and the weather is constantly good. The picture was taken from Shwesandaw Pagoda, which is, in my opinion, still the best spot to view it, although there will be a bunch of other tourists.
