Time on my Side - They say your first time is always special, as it was the first time I went to Kirkjufel on the west coast of Iceland. I'd been traveling on my own for 5 weeks, covering most of the island, sleeping in the back of a 4x4, or occasionally camping. I'd parked up at the waterfall and had a good sunset - I cooked myself a simple meal and hit the sleeping bag. I was woken just after midnight with the inside of the car green - the rest is history - a long, wonderful night in the embrace of the landscape - magical.
