Back in 2008, when this photo was taken, Iceland was not as popular between photographers as it is now. Indeed it was no other photographers at Jokulsarlon lagoon @ the time we came there. Sky was gray for several hours with small gap on the horizon as a slight promise for sunshine at sunset. After long photo-meditating under a silent ringing of the small pieces of ice I have decided to find a right spot to be in a case the sun will make it through. I found the place I liked and next minute sun beams came through! This magical moment lasted less, than a minute. I managed to take four frames of this first and only sunshine on that evening. The first frame and the last one were 38 seconds apart. You've got to be prepared to catch it... via 500px http://ift.tt/1ND3x01
