It took almost 3 months of braving -10c to -45c real feel temperatures, gusts of 30kmh or higher, drives of 400+km round trips, not to mention toll road charges, to finally find a "friendlier" snowy owl and get a series of shots that I am happier with. Perhaps not as good as those who can get their shots with 100mm but that is another story. It was a very hard slog!
