The Castle of Knights by carltloveall1

The Eltz Castle sits high in the mountains, hidden, along the Moselle River in Germany. Dating back to 850 years, this mid-evil castle was is one of the few castles in Germany not destroyed in WWII. It remains intact as it was 850 years ago. I shot this early in the morning, after walking twenty minutes through the pitch black forest to get there, the silhouette of the castle hidden in the mountains appeared, while sitting and waiting for the light, i couldn't help to think of the knights that once called this castle home. via 500px http://ift.tt/1FM2bdF
