The Rope by IngridKjelling

The Rope I'm always stoked when I go out in the middle of the night and stumble upon something unexpected. I went to this location to photograph the aurora above the red house but in the dark I found this tangled little gem of a foreground interest which I felt added a bit of depth to the scene. I always have an idea in my head of what I want to capture before I go out, but I also always walk the location (even in the dark) to look for something unexpected or different to put in my frame. Do you ever plan your photos before you go out? Location: Mjelle, Bodø - Norway Settings: Canon 6d + Tokina 16-28mm f2.8 lens @ ISO 2000 - f4 - 25sec via 500px http://ift.tt/1GFY6IS
