Yosemite Valley and Merced at Sunrise by ajamess

I shared this morning with a nice dude from somewhere on the East coast. I don't remember much about him, but we shared the limited space in front of the river in silence for a while, and chatted a bit after the colors had peaked and gone. Just one of those little moments with a stranger that I've come to enjoy more when doing photography. I have thousands of images from this trip that I still need to go through. I'm at the point now, a year or so later, where I feel disconnected from them enough to make reasonable judgement calls about their quality. I find that when I get really excited about an image immediately after taking it, 20% of the time it ends up being a really great image, and the other 80% of the time, it's not. So, over the last few years, I've tried to reserve judgement for at least a couple months so I can look at them with a fresh eye. I suppose with more experience, I'll be able to make unbiased judgements more easily. via 500px http://ift.tt/1ATkFZS
