Ice Age by whuang

One of my goals for heading to Iceland in the winter was to visit the Ice Caves. Surely enough on our third day in Iceland we were invited to tag along Colby, Joe, and Brian for a visit to the "new cave". After a fun ride through boulder strewn roads in a hummer we came up to the base of the glacier. A short hike later, we entered what can only be described as otherworldly. The ice cave glistened with deep blues and the ice was carved and contorted by thousands of years of pressure. Best of all, we had the cave to ourselves for several hours before the tour groups arrived. via 500px http://ift.tt/1NDG4Jb
