Mono Lake Sunset by mhitchner

Just after sunset from the southern side of Mono Lake. The sky lit up like it was on fire. Jumped into the water in order to get a good vantage point, and it was pretty windy so there were decent sized waves crashing over me and my camera. Got soaked for this shot, but it was well worth it. Had to wash my tripod and clothes in the hotel bathtub afterwards since its a salt lake and everything became infused with white crusty salt too!
