Fitz Roy mountain (its left side actually) Patagonia, Argentina. I took this shot early (very early) in the morning so the sky was still quite dark and cloudless, but already picking up a dark blue color. The snow was nicely illuminated by the rising sun but I still needed a longer exposure to capture it correctly. Anyway, I decided to convert this image to B&W and apply blue filter to reduce the luminosity of the blue color in the sky completely. This shot is all about the snow covered peaks and their powerful and beautiful shapes. Enjoy it on black background. Just click on the image. Want to do some "walking on the glacier" adventure with me and take shots such as this one? I still have a couple of open spots for my Patagonia Workshop with Mark Metternich in both Argentina and Chile. Here is the info: http://ift.tt/1xDRY0W via 500px http://ift.tt/1x5SypV
