***View on black or you will be struck by lightning!*** On Thursday and Friday of last week we had a pretty good rainstorm in Los Angeles. I was monitoring the weather and knew that Friday night was going to be special. I am currently working the graveyard shift at work and normally would be missing sunset. However all my work cancelled due to the rain and I was able to take a vacation day. It was totally worth it in this case. Some of you may know that Los Angeles City Hall has an observation deck on the 27th floor and that it is open to the public until 5pm. The only time this is worth a darn to me is during early winter when sunset is before 5pm. Let me tell you.... It was absolutely worth it this time. What a great view!
