It was extremely windy and cold day. In fact. our domestic flight to southern part of Iceland was canceled and we needed to drive to the mid point. The road to southern Iceland was treacherous due to sand storm which resulted in more than several cars being damaged by it as we learned later. This is one of the few shots I was managed to shoot in this extremely windy day. The ground was solid ice and with gust, I was barely able to stand still for a short period of time without risking to be blown into icy water. I wish to visit again in warm weather to enjoy it.
