The Valley of Dreams by DaniloFaria

This is an unusual view of the Yosemite Valley. The story of this image goes as such: 1. At left you see Lower Yosemite Falls with a very low flow (it didn't rain there for several days before this shot). And because of that I was able to hike all the way to this location, very complicated and almost impassable if the falls are running full speed. The dome shown at mid left is part of the Half Dome. 2. The falls colors were still lingering around it, did not expect to see that... bonus! 3. For sense of scale you can see a bridge with some people on it at lower center, and some of those trees are 100+ feet tall. And it took me 3 vertical shots (merged in Photoshop), at 16mm with a full frame I rented to try for this trip. Love the sometimes the unplanned non-classic shots... The Stream that Runs Thru by DaniloFaria

For years I postponed my hike at this location, now I ask myself why I did not come here sooner?? Well, here I am at Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona a bit late for the fall colors, but it did not disappoint at all! As always, your comments and visits are appreciated via 500px http://ift.tt/1tYFYBv

soft flow by massimoderivo

A long exposure taken with a B+W ND 3.0 filter, it was pretty difficult to shoot in this condition, since I was placed just beneath the <80 meter high waterfall! the Waterfall is in Barbiano Alto Adige, Italy. via 500px http://ift.tt/1v9CgtO
