Alone II by sarahverkaik

For the last week of 2014, I'm planning on posting some photos from 2014 that I liked but never uploaded. Today's photo is from back in the spring and this one tulip that was growing on it's own. While I love all the seasons for different reasons, I love the new life and renewal of spring as everything starts to grow and the flowers start blooming. via 500px http://500px.com/photo/93809633

Perfectly Lonely by YegorMalinovskii

Sunrise at the Boneyard Beach. This amazing place at Botany Bay is definitely a must visit while in Charleston. Short hike and you end up in the most surreal place I have ever been to: slowly dying tees battered by countless Atlantic storms and tides that year after year, take a bit of the land away from the island forest. I did not get any crazy weather to speak of while shooting, but the time I spent before the sun came up was definitely one of my all time favorites. via 500px http://ift.tt/1sNmxfC

Old Barn by AlexMironyuk

Old Barn It was the end of my 2 week trip to Montana and Wyoming. For all those days I didn't have even something close to ideal weather to take a good picture and I tried to chase any kind of a good light even on my last morning. And because of that I had to drive at this day for more than 6 hours non-stop from West Glacier, MT to Billings, MT. As soon as we left Glacier area the weather started to approach to it's ideal condition so finally the last sunset was simply amazing. I didn't have anything like that light during my whole trip to Montana and, what the heck, I was literally in the middle of nowhere on a highway with the most beautiful sunset that I've ever seen and I couldn't find any photo subject to compose it in my picture. And suddenly, when the light in the clouds got to the most dramatic point I saw this old abandoned barn next to the road. Obviously I didn't have any time to get a tripod, remote shutter control, etc. At that time I could only get a handheld shot of this stunning sunset. via 500px http://ift.tt/1zH3mum
